IMI GetReal webinar: Introduction to the concept of drivers of effectiveness

The European Initiative IMI launched the GetReal project, in order to provide scientific and operational solutions to provide information on the effectiveness of drugs at an earlier stage of drug development.

The webinar will introduce the concept of drivers of effectiveness and will provide an overview of the methods that can be used to identify them early during the drug development plan. In particular, predictive modelling techniques will be presented and discussed.

Antibiotic awareness drives digital conversation in European countries
14 April 2016 (WHO Europe)

The use of social and other digital media – Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, text messages, video and websites – for health messaging is growing rapidly in the WHO European Region. All 19 of the non-EU countries that participated in the first World Antibiotic Awareness Week (WAAW) in 2015 used digital media to raise awareness about antibiotic resistance. This marks a tremendous change from a couple of years earlier, when only around 10% of these countries used digital media to promote campaigns.
