Google joins search to find genetic cause of autism
13 June 2014

Google has linked up with the US research foundation Autism Speaks to accelerate advances in diagnosis, subtyping and treatment of the disorder. The partners hope the collaboration will “transform genomic research on autism spectrum disorder” as Autism Speaks will use the Google Cloud platform “to address the challenges of managing, analysing and disseminating the world’s largest library of genomic information on individuals with autism and their family members”.
