New public-private partnership aims at advancing the EHDS

Last week, the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) launched Call 10, which includes a focus on “Making the European Health Data Space (EHDS) a reality.” This topic aims to unlock the potential of safe and secure health data exchange, use, and re-use across the EU, with a budget allocation of almost €35 million.

The EHDS initiative seeks to:

  • Deliver frameworks, recommendations, and tools to support the implementation of the EHDS for data re-use in research.
  • Build a secure, collaborative, and innovative ecosystem for optimised data use.
  • Foster trust among stakeholders while safeguarding intellectual property and advancing research.

Public partners and SMEs: Learn more and explore how you can get involved here.
