Birgit is German and works with a Business Partner in the company, the Manufaktur für Antworten UG and has more than 17 years’ experience in patient communication. She is a journalist and speaker. Birgit develops and realizes communication programs for different partners like NPO, Industry, Start-Ups or governmental institutions and provides content for different formats like consumer magazines or economic newspapers. She also was nominated 2 times for the Ernst-Schneider-Preis for economic journalists.

Birgit is an influential Blogger about Multiple Sclerosis and Healthcare in Europe since 2007.

In 2016 she graduated as EUPATI Fellow and supports the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform. Birgit is a member of the Editorial Board of the “Data Saves Lives” Initiative and Chair of the DSL Pilot Toolkit Group.
