David Barros-Aguirre is the Head of Global Health Medicines R&D at GSK, and UNITE4TB Project Lead. David has worked at GSK for more than 20 years, with a focus first on the discovery of novel antimalarial drugs, and then moving to the field of TB, where he has been leading the discovery and development efforts for new anti-TB drugs, that are now in clinical studies with TB patients.
