Vice President & Head of Pfizer Global Public Private Partnerships. Vice-Chair of Research & Innovation Strategy Group (RIS) at EFPIA. James has more than 30 years of experience in the life sciences industry and currently heads up Pfizer’s Global Public Private Partnerships team. He obtained a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Reading, UK. In addition, James is the Vice-Chair of the EFPIA Research & Innovation Strategy Group (RIS) and alternate EFPIA member on the IMI Board. He has been involved in IMI since 2016. Previously James had headed up Pfizer’s EU R&D Business Development team and had been a group lead leader in medicinal chemistry. Prior to joining Pfizer James had been a research scientist for Zeneca Agrochemicals.
