Maria Heilskou Pedersen is a Senior advisor of Health at the Central Denmark EU Office based in Brussels.

She is working closely with the regional, local and national health system, academia, regulators and governments. Her work includes public-private innovation which contributes to connecting the dots and building bridges between the Central Denmark Region and EU.

Prior to joining CDEU, Maria worked as an Attaché at the Danish Permanent EU Representation in Brussels in the fields of health and life science. Maria holds a master’s degree in medical anthropology from the University of Copenhagen and a degree in international business from the University of Westlondon.
