On 20 April, EFPIA and Vaccines Europe organised the event “Europe COVID-19 battle: The pharmaceutical industry response”, the first of a series of virtual events.

This provided an opportunity to hear about and ask questions on the search for vaccines, diagnostics and treatments for use in the fight against COVID-19 and how the pharmaceutical industry continues to ensure the supply of medicines to the patients that need them.

Paul Stoffels (J&J), Alan Morrison (MSD), and Simon White (Pfizer) were our guest speakers. After a short introduction on these key issues, they answered to questions from participants.
