IMAGINE a healthier, more competitive Europe Albert Hall, Brussels

Save the date for the EFPIA Conference “IMAGINE a healthier, more competitive Europe” on the afternoon of 10 December 2024 at the Albert Hall in Brussels.

Building on Mario Draghi’s urgent call for action to help Europe regain its competitive edge and on President von der Leyen’s vision for a new Life Sciences strategy, this event will be a forum to discuss the role of health in the next EU political cycle. Together, we will explore how to turn these ambitions into action, making Europe the go-to location for research, development, and manufacturing of new diagnostics, treatments and vaccines.

Join leaders from the pharmaceutical industry, policymakers, patient advocates, and healthcare experts to discuss how we can work together to ensure faster, more equitable access to medicines and how AI is revolutionising health research.

Confirmed speakers include Hans Kluge (WHO Europe), Monica Shaw (BMS), and Lars Fruergaard Jørgensen (Novo Nordisk). MEP Nicolás González Casares (S&D), MEP Stine Bosse (Renew Europe), and MEP Tomislav Sokol (EPP) will also join us to share the European Parliament’s vision for the life sciences industry in the new mandate.

For the first time, EFPIA is partnering with Similes, a Brussels-based charity dedicated to mental health support, to raise funds for their "Family Home Support" project. EFPIA is committed to matching every euro raised, doubling the impact for families in need.
