On European Antibiotic Awareness Day, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control would like to invite you to an online event with the theme Antimicrobial resistance is invisible, I am not, aimed at raising awareness of the impact of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on people’s lives, keeping the patients at the centre of the discussion. 

AMR is invisible, but the patients are not.

The event will take place on 18 November, 13.00 to 15.30 CET, and you can register here: European Antibiotic Awareness Day 2024

You will hear real-life stories from patients affected by AMR, insights from EU representatives from public health and research, as well as and from patient advocacy organisations, in a collaborative discussion about how Europe is tackling AMR through a patient-centred approach.
