On October 13–14, 2026, Meet in Italy for Life Sciences (MIT4LS) returns to the Auditorium della Tecnica at Confindustria in Rome — the leading national event for networking, innovation, and dialogue in the Life Sciences sector, promoted by the National Technology Cluster ALISEI.

For over a decade, MIT4LS has served as the meeting point between research, industry, institutions, investors, and innovators, fostering dialogue, partnership building, and the growth of the Italian Life Sciences ecosystem on an increasingly international stage.

The 2026 edition introduces a refreshed, integrated format combining:

• Institutional Conference and Forum addressing strategic topics for Life Sciences competitiveness;
• B2B and B2R Matchmaking through a dedicated platform for targeted, high-quality meetings;
• Expo Area to showcase organisations, projects, and innovative technologies;
• Thematic Workshops to develop shared visions and new collaborative initiatives;

From the European Life Sciences Strategy to Italy’s competitive edge: the Conference programme

The MIT4LS Institutional Conference opens with the European Life Sciences Strategy, with a first day centred on dialogue with key national ministries and Italian and European institutions shaping the sector’s competitive dynamics and growth trajectories. Day two zooms in on Italy, working through public-private debate to identify the policy levers, strategic priorities and assets needed to strengthen research, innovation and healthcare. 

The matching platform

At the core of the 2026 edition is the dedicated B2B and B2R matchmaking organized in cooperation with CNR - Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, in its role of Enterprise Europe Network - EEN partner, the B2B & B2R platform will enable pre-arranged one-to-one meetings among pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech companies, startups, research organizations, universities, investors, technology clusters and public institutions.
