World Alzheimer’s Month is an opportunity to reflect on what scientific progress can mean for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and their families, and what Europe can do to turn that promise into better care. New treatments offer hope, but real progress depends on timely diagnosis, access to innovation and health systems equipped to deliver it.

Our policy breakfast, hosted by MEP Nina Carberry on 30 September, comes at a particularly timely moment, as the European Parliament considers the future of dementia policy through its ongoing INI report on the EU’s neurological health strategy. The event will bring together policymakers, clinicians, patient representatives and industry to discuss what Europe needs to do next.
