EFPIA welcomes the Commission Communication on effective, accessible and resilient health systems, and in particular the holistic approach it exemplifies: Health systems are there to produce positive health outcomes and ultimately improve the health of the population. The pharmaceutical industry has delivered many good medicines, most of them now available at very low prices, providing excellent value. EFPIA members are committed to discover and develop new medicines that add value to patients and society.
