EFPIA Event: Health driving growth in Europe

On 15 October 2014, EFPIA will host a public conference to discuss the best path towards a stronger healthier and more prosperous EU. #HealthyEU – Health Driving Growth in Europe will bring together a diversity of representatives – from healthcare leaders to policymakers – to discuss the future of European health policy, at what is a critical juncture with the start of a new Parliament and Commission.

Health has the potential to serve as a key enabler of a productive economy in Europe. If we get it right, quality healthcare can help keep people in work longer, can reduce absenteeism and, since Europe is one of the world’s leading regions in healthcare industries, directly generate economic value.
