EFPIA Welcomes New US IOM Clinical Trial Data Sharing report

Richard Bergstrom, EFPIA’s Director General said “The report highlights the importance of sharing clinical trial data while recognising the need to protect the anonymity of trial participants and commercially confidential information". He went on to say “In line with the report recommendations, EFPIA members remain committed to finding new avenues for the scientific community and patients to benefit from clinical research, while maintaining patient privacy, the integrity of national regulators, and investments in biomedical research”.
