The webinar will feature presentations of the topic as well as IMI’s rules and procedures for this fast-track, single stage Call for proposals, that will be launched in early March. The Call focuses on the development of:
- therapeutics to address the current COVID-19 outbreak and/or future coronavirus outbreaks;
- diagnostics to rapidly and reliably identify people infected with COVID-19.
Preventive vaccines are not included in the scope of this Call.
The World Health Organisation has officially declared the COVID-19 outbreak to be a public health emergency of international concern. With this in mind, this Call for proposals is being fast tracked, meaning that the deadline for submitting proposals will be shorter than usual.
For this reason, all potential applicants are warmly invited to attend this webinar, for which registration is free but obligatory via this link.
The draft Call text and a Q&A document are available on the Future Topics page of the IMI website.
