We are pleased to share the latest quarterly edition of NIRO, which stands for Navigating Innovation & Research Opportunities. NIRO lists R&I funding opportunities currently available from a variety of programmes and initiatives, as well as forthcoming opportunities. The latest edition features IHI Call 8, MSCA COFUND doctoral and postdoctoral fellowship programmes, BARDA EZ-BAA funding opportunities, and BMGF Grant Opportunities, among others.

About NIRO

Launched in July 2023, NIRO is a free-of-charge digital tool for accessing information on R&I funding opportunities for health, both at EU level and from national ministries, agencies, and organisations within and beyond the EU. By completing a short questionnaire, individual researchers and research teams from the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, as well as academia, are able to identify which R&I initiatives could be the right fit.

Developed with support from FTI Consulting, NIRO is available throughout the year and will be updated on a quarterly basis. The next quarterly update is planned for September 2024.
