Thomas Gelin joins EFPIA as Executive Director, International Affairs
With Europe’s competitive edge at the top of the political agenda, EFPIA is delighted to announce the appointment of Thomas Gelin as Executive Director, International Affairs.
Thomas joins EFPIA from Burson where he was Head of Health Public Affairs, Europe, and acted as a strategic advisor for a wide range of healthcare organisations.
Previously, he was Porter Novelli’s Senior Vice President, Europe Policy Lead, Health, and a member of Sanofi’s international public affairs team in Washington, D.C. where he focused on trade, EU-US relations and multilateral engagement.
Commenting on the appointment, EFPIA Director General, Nathalie Moll said: “Thomas brings energy, expertise and leadership to our international work at a time when continued global insecurity, European competitiveness and resilience is at the forefront of people’s minds. Thomas will take on the role with immediate effect.
