We are delighted to announce that Roberta Savli has been appointed as Executive Director of Public Affairs at EFPIA.

Speaking about her new role, Roberta said. “As Europe re-evaluates its pharmaceutical policy framework, this is an exciting time to lead the public affairs function at EFPIA. I am looking forward to working with colleagues from across our industry and with the wider European healthcare community to create a policy environment that will back innovation, boost access and drive the region’s resilience and recovery.”

Roberta joined EFPIA in 2018 bringing extensive experience from across the healthcare sector, including as Director of Policy and Strategy at the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases as well as working in both the European Parliament and Commission. Since joining EFPIA, Roberta has most recently coordinated industry input in to the EU Pharmaceutical Strategy, having previously focused on healthcare strategy as a Director, in the Healthcare Systems Team.

Commenting on the appointment, EFPIA Director General, Nathalie Moll said. “One of the joys of leading an organisation like EFPIA is seeing talent develop and blossom. Roberta is a case in point, since joining EFPIA her passion and leadership have shone through, making her the standout candidate to lead our public affairs team.”

Roberta will take on the new role with immediate effect.
